The company was founded by Steve Giles, who began S.G Roofing in 1984 after years of prior roofing work. Over the years, Charlie and Tom, Steve’s sons, both spent time working alongside their dad, learning the value of hard work and craftsmanship from the ground up. Though their careers took them in different directions, their time on the roof helped shape the strong family values that still guide the business.

Today, Steve works side by side with his youngest son, Jack, who has brought new energy and a shared passion for roofing into the next chapter of the company. Together, they continue the family tradition, combining time-honoured techniques with modern standards and materials.
